April 2011, Amsterdam - Op Koninginnedag 2011, vindt voor de tweede keer de “Poolparty” plaats bij het Marnixplantsoen in Amsterdam. De creatieve partijen Topbillin’, Barkers, Good Guyz en VICE zullen deze dag samen met initiatiefnemers Vage Gasten, het minifestival organiseren. Verwacht dit jaar nog meer vette artiesten! Denk hierbij aan dj’s zoals Joost van Bellen, Henzel & Disco Nova en The Partysquad ft Sef, Adje & Reverse. Hiernaast live optredens van onder andere De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig, en The Opposites. De aankleding wordt gedaan door het kunstenaarscollectief van Vage Gasten. De organisatie nodigt hierbij iedereen uit om langs te komen op hun feestje. Dit jaar met grotere acts, betere barren, meer art en nog meer fun!

Tweede editie “Poolparty”
Ruim 900 bezoekers bezochten vorig jaar voor de eerste keer de “Poolparty” tijdens Koninginnedag. Er waren het eerste jaar veel vragen over de naam Poolparty. “Waar is het zwembad dan?!” Voor de leken onder ons: zo’n gat waar je in kan skaten heet een Pool. Op het Marnixplantsoen ligt de leukste Pool van Amsterdam. Vandaar Poolparty! Ook dit jaar zijn alle skaters van jong tot oud weer uitgenodigd! Naast alle sport is er dit jaar weer een podium voor kunst en muziek. Een mix aan hiphop, house en electro zullen dit jaar het Marnixplantsoen weer overnemen. Dit jaar nog harder met de beste artiesten uit diverse muziek scenes die zullen zorgen voor spectaculaire optredens en entertainment!

Gonzo staat niet stil, en dat terwijl ik begrepen had dat Gonzo een luie levenstijl was maar dat zal wel aan mij gelegen hebben. Maar goed, Tempa T laat zijn visie niet rustig voorbij kabbelen en Komt met de Tempa T gonzo Work out pt. 1 oftewel hij gaat stug en stevig door want binnenkort staat part 2 vast ook online!

Tempa T houd niet van half zacht werk dus maak je klaar om te zweten of klaar om te faken en gooi een fles water over je heen mensen zien het verschil toch niet.

Het is wel duidelijk dat dit niet zomaar een grappig act is, er wordt duidelijk aangegeven welke stappen je moet maken voor een goede work-out. Wel Tempa stijl.

Maar nee daar gaat dit dus niet over, we hebben wel te maken met een rapper maar dan zonder harembroek en wel een zieke flow en attitude!

Everybody knows rockstar games They are famous for the 'grand theft auto' series, sometime ago I wrote in a post about their new concept which was called ''red dead redemption''. This game was very innovative but still very recognizable thanks to the awesome story telling style by rockstar.

What's so cool about LA noire? well back in Grand theft you where the criminal and This time in LA Noire you're the copper, the detective, which is, of course, the compleet opposite of what you're used to. But in my opinion this is going to be very exiting.

Writing a good detective novel is pretty hard, if normally you only wright about gangsters. You've got to switch you compleet state of mind. Same goes with game design and the story with in it, personally I can't wait to play this game.

Now you're probably wondering what fragrance and music has got to do with each other. well that's a normal thought because I was thinking exactly the same thing.

music and sent are both searching for divines and enlightenment, but both with it's one sense. one is hearing and the other is smell. If one would combine them literally, one might spray tab notes on it's neck.... which is absurd. What I think they've tried to do is combine the theme, the atmosphere of a live concert and I think i can be more specific: The atmosphere of a rock concert! and try to recreate that feeling due to a fragrance.

It's proved that smell can bring back memories! so why couldn't it be possible to relive the feeling of that awesome night you had at that concert by the smell of a perfume.

I think this is a breakthrough in marketing and also in inspiration for fragrance development.

Foam Fotografiemuseum Amsterdam, EYE Film Instituut Nederland en het Van Gogh Museum hebben de krachten gebundeld om het naturalisme onder de aandacht te brengen. Hoewel deze stroming van grote invloed is geweest op met name vroege cinema en fotografie is ze onder het hedendaagse kunstpubliek relatief onbekend gebleven.

Van 8 oktober 2010 tot en met 16 januari 2011 werken de drie musea samen in het platform Net Echt, dat in het leven is geroepen om de diverse facetten van deze multidisciplinaire stroming te belichten. Ik sprak Okke laatst op een locatie waar ik hem nooit verwachte tegen te komen, maar goed hij was daar en bracht het nieuws dat aankomende zaterdag een feest te ere van het publiek van cordes, en het cordes, in de Azijnfabriek gehouden zou worden. Ik vind het echt super vet en heb er zin in :)

Zo nu dan ook in samenwerking met PalladiumBoots.

Johnny Knoxville En palladium presents: DETROIT LIVES, een documentaire over de verborgen stedelijke gebouwen en architectonische schatten. deze keer heeft hun zoektocht ze geleid naar de oude bijna industrie dode stad Detroit. Een stad vol verlaten oude fabrieken waar men geen aandacht meer aan geeft, maar zeker niet in vergetelheid mogen raken. Want er waait een hoop geschiedenis in deze gebouwen, en zo ook een hoop kansen.

Johnny, treed buiten het toeristen boekje onder begeleiding van de prominente punk band uit Detroit The Dirt- bombs, hip hop artiest Black Milk en restaurateur Phil Cooley. De stad zit vol talent en kansen, deze zelfde mensen herbouwen de stad van binnen uit.

In de documentaire wordt onder andere een bezoek gebracht aan Fisher Body Plant, Packard Plant, Sparklewood (kunstenaarscollectief/muziekpodium) D’Mongo’s Café, Slows Barbecue, Michigan Cen- tral Station en Berry Gordy’s villa - de Motown Mansion. Je kan de videos bekijken op:palladiumboots

Verder even kort over palladium, wat is palladium? Palladium werd in 1920 opgericht door groep ondernemers, het bedrijf ging vliegtuig banden ontwikkelen. 1947, toen na het einde van de Tweede Wereldoorlog de vraag naar vliegtuigbanden sterk afnam, zette Palladium hun expertise op het gebied van canvas en banden in om laarzen te maken die even duurzaam en bestendig waren als hun banden. In 1999 studeerde zij af aan de Amsterdam international Fashion instituut.

She is what you call:

HARD WORK and TALENT.

I never knew did she went to same school as I want to go to! I really like her style! with this collection she made it look like the pieces were plane silhouettes but when you looked closer at it you find that there is allot of dynamics in every piece. She made ong straight cuts and many layers in in one piece without making it unwearable. She told me that she always does the same thing, which surprises me because I her collections always happily surprises me with new fresh things. But when you think about it there is definitely a resembles between her collections. Never change a winning team and the same goes for a concept.

I think that one is a good designer when he/she got his own recognizable style with out boring the client or the industry! So applause for Anne de Grijff

Anne de Grijff startte in 2008 haar collectie onder eigen naam. Collectie Anne de Grijff profileert zich sindsdien als een welgevormd high quality designer label. De collectie voor A/W 2010-11 is verkrijgbaar bij: ARNHEM COMING SOON, Cobra, Den Bosch, Nen Xavier, Rotterdam. Anne studeerde in 2003 af aan het Amsterdam Fashion Institute (AMFI). Ze liep stage bij Alexander van Slobbe en G+N. Sinds 2003 werkt de ontwerpster onder de naam degrijff I design voor verschillende opdrachtgevers als Mart Visser Collection, Claudia Sträter,en Mexx en ze doceerde op mode- en stylingacademie Artemis. But anyways just like Homeworkdjs RUBIX is one of the lads I almost started following from day one. Fissa Tune EP (Exploited, 2010) by Homework

The boys of Homework Are growing up so fast!! wauw. When I first started following them, and promoting them, they where good and they had the potential of getting big and it seems that their hard work is paying of. first they did a couple of remixes which are doing good!! and there was this:

I GOT ONE I GOT TWO THEY GOT A EP ON EXPLOITED REC.

They had been teasing us for ages with a great track called Fissa tune. When Brodinski found the track he was sold and played every where in every set. This is when It became really HUGE!

Exploited rec. wanted them and so it went and this is how it's going. It's almost a fairy tail with a lovely ending. I also heard that the next EP is coming up already on the same label that has Jesse rose and many more, and they joined Jackmode agency This should be getting good.

Hee Y'all, yesterday julie dad and I went to a indoor playground called 'Bus Fabrik' the logo looks allot like the logo of the Bart Smith which My dutch followers probably would know. but it's also pretty irrelevant.
Any way that morning We decided that we were gonna make some sushi that night. Which Really worked out perfect, we made a allot well actually I made allot. Dad was to lazy and the rest had no clue what to do.

But yesterday was also a dom ass day..... because dad forgot the camera...... so now I can Only wright about yesterday while there were so many great photo opportunities...

Let me tell you another thing about my sister. Julie speaks 3 languages and she's only 2.5 years old. She amazes me everyday after and after again. Yesterday her mom called my dad. And julie picked up the phone and it was like a was waching a 12 year old talking on the phone to a friend. It was al so clear, It was firm and easy to follow which is pretty unique in compare to my experience with kids on the phone.

Jasper and I decided that mymycrew would not fit any more for us, since we want to become professional djs and producers. It's just not grown-up enough and moreover mymycrew did not really have a meaning....

ContrAVersy does have a meaning: jasper is sort of introvert and then you have me who is extrovert. Contra= different, so this is where the idea came from. We are different in that perspective. but when you look at the way Jasper or I look at live and in manners we both think one should act we agree all the way. That's why we are such a good team.

So I'm In Sweden in the middle of FN.... but it's nice here. Finally I'm with my sister again, and will I'm writhing this she's singing some kid song in swedish together with her friend Samuel.

She's grown SO big and i'm becoming dummer by the day because I forgot my camera. But Picture would do good enough for these days to remember. I'm Really happy to see her again.!

She became sooo big! her hands grew allot! and she definitely my sister and my fathers daughter because she's been talking allot! this morning she woke me up pretending that she was hunting monsters..... offcourse this all was waaaayyyyy to early! but ok she's my baby sister! :)

We had a great night, just like in that song by: Caro emerald ''a night like this''

When we got there, there was a beautiful sit area. The Table was filled from head to toe with drinks, pink Champagne and Blue Cheese cake.

After we ate something, had some desperados (beer), we went in to this huge bubble bath :)! Which gave me the best back massage thanks to the hydro jets, but it had a nasty side effect, haha everybody tummy hurts thanks to that thing. But it was nice either way you look at it.

He's going to the Usa to board and teach kids how to board :) pretty cool if you ask me.

It was really nice, He reserved A whole Beach club for the event, He brought everybody with two huge busses and everybody had to be in white (ps the whole club was in white). The Man himself was In red haha you almost could say it was a sweet sixteen. but it had way more style plus it there was no huge gifts or something just friends coming together and having a laugh

POUR LES AMFI.

For the AMsterdam Fashion Institute (AMFI) we had to make a ''Fashion doll which could be used as an accessory''. It the beginning I had no fucking clue what so ever!!

So first I started with a barbie type idea I wanted to combine in with a vinyl toy, but soon I found it dull. So I tried all kinds of stuff.

but At one point in the progress my dog came to me, he wanted to play he was holding his toy chicken in his mouth. I looked at it and thought! damn that would be awesome if i made bag out of it. But is it a doll? technically yes it is so I took my chances and this is what came out of my imagination!!

I hope they will let me in!!
